Let’s talk mom style

Mom style. How does a mom dress? How should a mom dress? Have you ever asked yourself these questions? When you become a mom, so many things change. You don’t see your friends as often and sometimes you are covered in spit up and who knows what. All the #momproblems. Even though your life may get thrown through a loop, I’m a strong believer that you can be a mom and still be yourself. Finding your mom style is one way to keep your identity when your life is changing in a wonderful, wild way.

What Changes

My style hasn’t changed a lot since I became a mom, but I did say goodbye to a few things. I don’t think I’ll be sporting a bandage dress anytime soon! Now, I just try to choose clothing that is cute and practical without sacrificing my personal style. I’m no style maven, but I do love getting dressed up for a night out with friends or my hubby. Now that I’m pregnant again, I really focus on finding clothes that will work while pregnant and after I have the baby. Who wants to buy a whole wardrobe that can only be worn for a few months?! It’s more important than ever that clothes are functional (chasing toddlers, bending over, nursing a baby), but still stylish.

Where to shop

My new favorite place to shop is Evereve. It’s an online boutique with stores nationwide whose main focus is moms! Can it get any better than that? You don’t have to be a mom to love what Evereve has to offer. You’ll find brands like Free People, Sam Edelman, Joes Jeans, and more. I absolutely love this off the shoulder Free People top (it comes in 3 colors). It’s perfect for pregnancy and it will also be cute and functional once little miss is born. I wear it with this bralette that will also work for nursing.

I also grabbed this split front poncho. It’s extremely soft and splits in the front and back, making it perfect for nursing. In the fall, I’m all about leggings and soft, flowy tops. They pair perfectly with these loafers. It’s effortless, comfortable, and cute. Exactly what I’m looking for.

Evereve grand opening party

If you’re in Oklahoma City, you must join me on October 4th for the Evereve grand opening! There will be snacks, drinks, and giveaways. My sweet friend Aubrey of The Dandy Liar is hosting this fun event. See all the details below. I hope to see you there! If you aren’t in OKC, check out your local store or shop online.

Your bump is just too adorable! I found that few maternity shops were suited for me when I was pregnant with my twins, but these clothes are adorable!

Thank you! What I love about Evereve is that it isn’t maternity, but I found so many pieces that work!
